Johnson's many music, engineering and computer industry career experiences come together beautifully at RBDG. He has mastered the art of Computer Aided Design and 3-D space rendering. Russ knew that Johnson's computer aptitude, combined with his background of technical systems installation and design, would be a significant contribution to our design team. His ability to create award-winning renderings and animated "fly-throughs" of our project designs allows our clients to visualize the end result of their project before the construction begins. This computerized prescience has set RBDG apart from other design firms and has been a powerful aid for our clients.
Johnson performs acoustical analysis and post construction testing of the spaces designed here at RBDG. He has written and lectured extensively on Room Acoustics and Surround Sound Monitoring. He and wife Catherine (a formidable accountant) share a huge library of books on all subjects and the joy of running a country house brimming with pets, roses and their son Colin.
