Welcome to the Russ Berger Design Group FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server. You may use this ftp server to transfer files to and from RBDG, especially those files that are too large for your internet service provider's mail server. Information on obtaining access privileges and software is listed below the form.

Anonymous (Public) Access

This server does not provide anonymous access. Please contact us to request an account and password if you wish to transfer files.

Establishing your Account

In order to send or receive files, you will need to establish an account. You can request this account through e-mail or by contacting us at (972) 661-5222.

Where your files are stored

Your account includes a personal folder inside the "users" directory where you may send and receive files. This directory is accessible only to you and to RBDG staff. In addition, we may have granted you access to one or more project-specific directories.

Connecting to the FTP Server

If you are familiar with FTP services, you can use any FTP client program to connect to our server. If you don't know what any of this means, look for your operating system and internet browser below:

Windows 2000/XP using Microsoft Internet Explorer

Use the wizard in "My Network Places" to add a web folder for ftp://ftp.rbdg.com. Open this folder to connect directly to the FTP server.

Windows 95/98/NT

Download and install WS_FTP. Use it to connect to ftp.rbdg.com.

MacOS X

Download and install Transmit. Use it to connect to ftp.rbdg.com

MacOS 9

Download and install Fetch. Use it to connect to ftp.rbdg.com
